I ask to myself every time-

I am scolded for not being 'good' as they say.

Why can't we just be at peace with ourselves ?

It would be so wonderful then.

We could speak our mind.

We could dance being carefree.

We could fly our dreams.

We could just let it be...

Small roads leading to countryside

Tall palm trees, with sun setting behind

Black clouds waiting to come down

Ladies in colorful saris-

Covering their faces with veil

Bullock carts returning as the evening dawns

Little mud houses buzzing with children

Cool breeze from the sea , blowing my hair.

Swaying green fields and pinkish sky

With silver lining

All eyes staring at the sky

For spiritual bliss of the nectar

From the heavens brink

Seasons first rain it is

With smell to die for

Feels divine to walk in rain

Like God's hands on our head

Dancing to its tunes-

Feeling as light as air

And as cool as the damp soil.

Nowadays, everyone seems to make everything an issue . Let it be the Olympic Torch or the reservations or the best topic ever- THE GLOBAL WARMING.

Why can't people just let it be, for once ? Why can't for ,once on the face of earth, we just stop pointing at others and addressing issues, if we aren't fit for anything else ?

I just wanna tell every buddy , just let it be.

We all know the problems , don't add miseries to the already grim scenario and make everyone feel that life sucks. Rather it would be appreciable , if you could really help for the good.

Just let the big issues be . Remember the golden saying that- take care of smaller things and biggies will be taken care of themselves. For e.g. , plant trees , save power , keep your surroundings clean . Just do your bit and take it easy & stop going crazy about the melting ice caps.

KEEP IT COOL.

Initially, I was completely against the reservations, privileges & quotas . I thought it was next to crime a sin . As it not only denied the general folk to their share of rights & opportunities, but also kept caste system alive in our society & take its deep roots.

But now I have a different opinion about it . Recently I came across a piece of writing , in which it said that, it is only a reserved society & self-centered people who resist reservations.

Don't get me wrong I am not still in favor of reservations . But I have digested the fact that something has to be really done for the socially backward groups. And quotas can't really help them or the society or these groups .

To uplift them & prevent their lives to turn from fog to endless night , what it is essential is provide them a strong foundation rather than to lead them to the darker end by giving them shot term gain in form of reservations.

So, the moral of the story is that , they should be given proper yielding viable primary education. This is what , that can empower them to be at par or ahead of others & shed off the burden laid on them by the society.
